2026 Women's Focused Hunter Education

Join us for our annual Women's Hunter Education Field Day!

When: Friday, April 3rd, 2026 (10:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Where: Rose Lake Shooting Range (14500 Peacock Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823)

Who: Ladies ages 9 and up!

(This course is intended for an audience of women, however no registrations will be denied access to the course within our registration limited of 30)

What: Participants will have to provide proof of the online course completion upon arrival. To sign up to complete the online portion, head here: MICHIGAN HUNTER SAFETY COURSE

After check in, participants will review the course material, hear from a local conservation officer, and take their 50-questions multiple choice exam. Lunch will be provided. The second half of the day will be the field portion, where participants will practice shooting sporting clays, .22 rifles, and crossbows. Optionally, at 2:30 pm, we will have a 'Go Confident' session to help our ladies get prepared for time in the woods!

Participants that pass their exam and go through the field day, will recieve their Michigan Hunter Education Certificate and a gift bag with lots of goodies!
