Annual Spring Camp Clean-Up

ANNUAL SPRING CAMP CLEAN UP

Join MUCC staff and other volunteers for a day of cleaning, stocking, and preparation in order to open our camp facility for the season. This volunteer event is held from 9 am to 4 pm on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at our camp property (2500 Pierce Road, Chelsea, MI 48118).

Typically tasks to expect to do this day are:

- Cleaning out main lodge including kitchen and dining hall

- Clearly trails of debris and spraying for poison ivy

- Stocking cabins with fire extinguishers, cleaning supplies, and smoke detectors

- Re-organizing classroom and art building

- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping down all cabins

- Odd specific jobs such as painting, window repairs, beach clean up, etc.

A complete list of tasks will be provided at the beginning of the day. Volunteers will sign up for certain tasks and be responsible for completing those tasks, as well as signing up for others as the day goes on. All interested volunteers must sign up using this form to attend this event. All ages welcome, but come prepared to work and dressed for the weather. The event will happen rain or shine!

Volunteers will be provided a light breakfast, coffee, snacks, refreshments, and lunch!
