About the project: Join MUCC's On the Ground program in partnership with the Michigan DNR to repair accessible hunting blinds and clear shooting lanes at Sleepy Hollow State Park. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, September 21, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The purpose of the event is to increase access for hunters with limited mobility.

Meeting location: Volunteers will meet at the Sleepy Hollow State Park headquarters building.

What to bring: Closed-toed boots, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt are recommended. This project will take place rain or shine unless there is severe weather so please dress accordingly. Any necessary equipment will be provided including work gloves. A volunteer lunch and appreciation gift will also be provided to all registered volunteers. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM at the headquarters building.
