Clean-up at Pointe Mouillee State Game Area (Wayne/Monroe County)

About the project: On Saturday, August 10, 2024, MUCC's On the Ground program will be partnering with Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and Michigan DNR for a clean-up at Pointe Mouillee State Game Area. The event will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The purpose of the event is to improve and enhance the quality of fish and wildlife habitat on public land by removing trash from the state game area.

Meeting location: Volunteers will meet at the Point Mouillee State Game Area headquarters building.

What to bring: MUCC will provide work gloves, trash grabbers and trash bags for volunteers to use. A volunteer lunch and appreciation gift will be provided to all registered volunteers. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM at the headquarters building.
