2024 Jack Pine Planting Day

About the project: Join MUCC's On the Ground, the Kirtland’s Warbler Alliance, and Huron Pines for the 2024 Jack Pine Planting Day on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The goal of the project is to improve and enhance Kirtland’s warbler habitat by planting jack pine trees in the Grayling Forest Management Unit.
Meeting location: This project will take place off of W 4 Mile Road, southeast of Grayling, MI in Crawford County.

What to bring: A volunteer lunch and appreciation gift will be provided to all registered volunteers. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves as we have a limited amount of gloves available.
Registration for the event will close on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 4 P.M. If you need to register after the close date, email sscheitz@mucc.org.
